Omega-6 vs. omega-3: what's the difference?

Both omega-6 and omega-3 belong to the group of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). They’re essential for various body functions – but balance matters. Experts recommend a ratio of 2:1 to max. 5:1 omega-6 to omega-3 in your diet.
