The recommended daily dose is typically between 800 - 2000 I.U. of vitamin D3 and about 75 µg of vitamin K2 (MK-7). However, every body is different – so it’s worth consulting with your doctor to find the optimal amount for you..

Do you have to take vitamin D with K2?

Vitamin D and vitamin K2 do not always have to be taken together. Depending on individual circumstances and therapeutic goals, however, taking them together can be beneficial. Vitamin K2 and vitamin D3 work together when it comes to building and maintaining strong bones.

Does vitamin D3 and K2 help with weight loss?

Vitamin D3 and K2 are not fat burners – so they don’t have a direct effect on weight loss. However, good vitamin D levels can indirectly support the body – for example, by regulating satiety or improving insulin sensitivity, which can positively affect fat metabolism.Still, it’s important to remember: Without a healthy diet and regular exercise, nothing works. If you have questions or concerns, consulting a doctor is always the best option.

Can you chew the Vitamin D3 & K2 capsules?

The Vitamin D3 & K2 capsules are not intended to be chewed – however, chewing them is usually not a problem.

Can you apply the Vitamin D3 & K2 capsules to your hair?

While vitamin D is important for hair health, there is no scientific evidence that applying Vitamin D3 and K2 capsules to your hair has any significant benefit. Instead, this could result in oily residues and possible skin irritation. It’s better to focus on proven methods such as a balanced diet and using hair care products specifically designed for external or internal use.

What does the term “pure substance principle” mean?

At BIOGENA, “pure substance principle” means that we do not use technological additives which are used for the fully automated manufacturing of tablets, capsules and pills (e.g. anticaking or release agents and so forth) or additives that are used for optical reasons or for enhancing the taste of the products (artificial aroma, colouring agents, coatings etc.). Due to a semi-automatic manufacturing process, we can avoid these substances that often have a higher proportion in customary products than the actual active ingredients. In the case of nutritional supplements, additives have to be indicated in the list of ingredients. Here, the patient or customer can get useful information. Concerning the single ingredients, we also care for our raw materials to be free of carrier substances. In cases where this is not possible, we use natural food components such as maltodextrin, cellulose powder or calcium carbonate. The majority of our ingredients is produced exclusively for us – free of carrier substances (e.g. our enzymes our probiotics: other manufacturers often use lactose as a carrier – the product batches produced for us are explicitly without carriers).
