We produce using traditional methods
At BIOGENA, micronutrients are not produced on an assembly line, but in the true spirit of artisanal craftsmanship. At our own production facility, the BIOGENA GOOD HEALTH WORLD in Koppl near Salzburg, we combine craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology. Many steps are deliberately carried out by hand – from weighing and encapsulation right through to the final inspection. Machines are used where the highest precision is required. But people are always at the heart of what we do: our experienced staff, who oversee every batch with care and responsibility.

Our formulations are based on high-quality raw materials – and that is precisely where the challenge lies. Some substances are fine and light, others dense; some are sensitive or difficult to combine. Translating this complexity into high-quality, bioavailable products requires experience, tact and genuine craftsmanship.
For us, artisanal production is more than just a manufacturing principle. It is an expression of our philosophy: products that are stripped back to the essentials, free from additives such as anti-caking agents, thickeners or anti-foaming agents, and clearly focused on health and well-being. Every batch is carefully tested, independently analysed and transparently declared.

Our flagship facility is located in Koppl, near Salzburg – a place where you can experience BIOGENA with all your senses. Here, we open the doors to our production facilities and show you how our products are crafted in the traditional artisanal style: from weighing out the raw materials to filling our BIOGENA tins, which are made from sugarcane-based plastic.
At GOOD HEALTH WORLD, modern production meets transparency in action: from raw material sourcing through research, development and in-house production to dispatch to over 60 countries – all under one roof, all traceable. It is also a true experience centre: a place where knowledge is shared, questions are answered and well-being is brought to life. Particularly unique: our show production facility. Here, we don’t just produce – we also share: knowledge, insights and inspiration on micronutrients and health.

For us, quality is not a final inspection step, but the foundation of every single process. Our pursuit of the highest quality is the starting point for everything we do.
With KAIZOGENA Q, we have created a system that brings together all aspects of our preparations within a holistic approach.
Derived from the Japanese concept of Kaizen, the principle of continuous improvement, KAIZOGENA Q stands for the seamless interplay of science, raw material expertise, development, production, analysis and quality management. Each of these areas interlocks precisely with the others. This enables us to achieve a result that meets the highest standards.
From the very first gram of raw material to the finished preparation, every step is clearly defined, validated and fully traceable. Our formulations are based on the latest scientific findings, and our dosages are evidence-based. Every batch undergoes multiple internal and external checks.
But KAIZOGENA Q means more than just meeting standards. It requires that processes are continuously scrutinised, refined and optimised – day after day, product after product. This creates a system that builds trust and is transparent, responsible and consistently focused on further development.
Maximum security and transparency
Tested quality that builds trust
Every batch of our products is analysed. This means you can be confident that BIOGENA products meet strict quality standards and satisfy the highest requirements for purity and safety.
In addition to our internal quality processes, we have all our batches tested by an independent laboratory, such as the LEFO Institute or Analytec. There, key quality parameters such as nutrient content, heavy metals, microbiological purity and pesticides are checked according to defined procedures.
We send test samples from each batch, which are then examined using a set testing protocol – with varying focal points determined by the laboratory itself. This ensures the testing remains objective and independent, resulting in a testing process that makes quality traceable. And because we prioritise quality over quantity, we deliberately produce in smaller batches. This allows us to remain flexible and ensures we can consistently maintain the highest standards.
Selected products, such as those in the BIOGENA Sports Line, also meet the requirements of the Kölner Liste® and are listed there.
Furthermore, BIOGENA is certified to the internationally recognised FSSC 22000 standard and also complies with GMP and HACCP guidelines, evidence of the highest standards for food safety and quality management throughout the entire value chain.
This creates a multi-stage testing system that not only ensures quality but also makes it transparent and traceable – giving you peace of mind with every decision.

This is what our Quality & Science Team stands for: it translates scientific findings – with a focus on evidence, quality and innovation – into well-thought-out formulations and continuously refines these through our own product studies.
Scientific studies must be carefully planned and conducted. That is why we collaborate with renowned partners from laboratories, research societies and therapy centres. Their diagnostic and therapeutic findings are incorporated directly into our product development. At the same time, we actively share this knowledge through the BIOGENA Academy, making it accessible to professionals and interested parties.
