Dr. Katharina Medek

Dr Katharina Medek studied medicine in Innsbruck and, after spending time in Vienna and Zurich, is now back in her hometown of Salzburg, where she works as a specialist in dermatology in her own private practice at the p-Health – Zentrum für gesunde Schönheit, as well as at the university clinic. It is particularly important to her that patients feel comfortable in their own skin. ‘Our skin is our largest organ, it performs many tasks and also reflects our mental state. It is therefore important to support it in the best possible way – from the inside and from the outside,’ says Dr. Medek. Together, she creates individually tailored therapy plans and skin care routines, performs skin cancer screenings and, if necessary, surgically removes skin changes. "For me, being beautiful means learning to appreciate and love your own individuality, because that's the only way to achieve the glow you want. For me, it's not about anti-aging, because we all want to grow old. Rather, my goal is well-aging, smart-aging and healthy-aging. Getting healthy and staying healthy is the motto!"
