Collagen is the most common protein in the human body and is present in different types depending on the type of tissue. This is also the case in our skin: beneath the visible epidermis lies the dermis, which contains the fascinating structural protein collagen, which impresses with its exceptionally high elasticity. Together with elastin fibers, it stretches together to form a rubber band-like network structure that forms the inner "corset" of the skin. NATICOL® premium collagen mainly contains fish collagen type I peptides.
