Collagen is the most widespread protein in the human body and is present in different types depending on the type of tissue. This is also the case in our skin: beneath the visible epidermis lies the dermis, which contains the fascinating structural protein collagen, which impresses with its exceptionally high elasticity. Together with elastin fibers, it stretches together to form a rubber band-like network structure that forms the inner "corset" of the skin. The premium collagen NATICOL® contains mainly fish collagen type I peptides. It is characterized by top bioavailability and, as a by-product of responsible aquaculture, also sustainably conserves marine resources.
