Collagen is the most common protein in the human body and is found in different types depending on the type of tissue. This is also the case in our skin: beneath the visible epidermis lies the dermis, which contains the fascinating structural protein collagen that impresses with its exceptionally high elasticity. Together with fibres made of elastin, it tightens into a rubber band-like net structure that forms the inner "corset" of the skin. The premium collagen NATICOL® contains mainly fish collagen type I peptides. It is characterised by top bioavailability and, as a by-product of responsible aquaculture, also sustainably conserves marine resources.
New skin cells are constantly being formed in the epidermis, and this process is dependent on a good supply of nutrients. Hydrolysed marine collagen powder in its purest form
