Enzymes are complex protein molecules produced by all animal and human cells; they are essential for metabolism and for restoring physiological balance in the body. Enzymes are involved in innumerable metabolic processes in the body, above all by ensuring that substances can be cleaved and thus processed better and faster. The enzymes bromelain, trypsin and chymotrypsin contained in ReconZym® Gold have proteolytic properties, i.e. they split protein. Additionally vitamin C supports the normal collagen formation for a normal function of blood vessels and skin. Biotin, vitamin A and vitamin B2 contribute to the preservation of skin and mucous membranes.

Enzymes have a slightly blood-thinning effect. Therefore, they should be discontinued at least one day before a planned operation. As soon as haemostasis is assured after the operation, the patient can start taking the enzymes again. Consult your doctor. Not suitable under the age of 11.
