Lactase makes dairy products more tolerable
Many people enjoy milk and dairy products, but unfortunately these are not well tolerated by everyone. A special enzyme, the so-called lactase, is needed for the break down of milk glucose, or lactose, contained in these products. Lactase is formed in the small intestine and splits the lactose found in food into its different individual components, so that they can be absorbed by the body. The targeted intake of lactase can improve tolerability in individuals that have problems digesting lactose.
Biogena LactroZym®: With the lactose-splitting enzyme
Biogena LactroZym® was developed to help people that have problems digesting lactose (milk glucose). If taken before meals, Biogena LactroZym® can improve the digestion of lactose. This increases the tolerability of milk and dairy products.
The way the ingredient works:
Lactase splits lactose into its different individual components and thus, improves the lactose digestion in individuals that have problems digesting milk glucose.

Recommended consumption
1–2 capsules taken prior to consuming a meal containing lactose (from dairy products). The daily amount, can be adapted individually to the daily dairy consumption. Recommended daily dosage up to 6 capsules. Lactose tolerance can vary and those affected should seek advice regarding the use of this enzyme in their diet.
